I'm Ari :3

I'm a teenage artist living in California. I like art (duh), music, video games, and reading (I need to get back into it though T_T).Some musical artists/bands I like are: Mitski, Gregory and the Hawks, Car Seat Headrest, Siouxsie and the Banshees, the Cure, Dazey and the Scouts, Black Dresses, AND SOOO MUCH MORE (my music taste is all over the place). As for video games, I really love RPGmaker games (ESP Yume Nikki and a lot of the horror ones), Minecraft (someone play bedwars with me T_T), Stardew valley, Roblox, Valorant, etc. This is a small assignment for my art class to showcase my art. I've always wanted to make a website using neocities, so I decided to use this opportunity to make one. I hope you enjoy this website and the art I've created.

My Artist Statement !!!

Art has been my lifelong passion. I mostly create to tell stories, show off characters I’ve made, or to just have fun. Art gives me a medium to share the stories my overactive imagination creates with friends and strangers online. In the future, I’d like to make a webcomic or an animated series (though it’d probably be hard to do by myself) and hopefully people would see and enjoy it. Art is important to me because I would probably be daydreaming all day instead of doing something productive with my imagination that I (and hopefully others) can enjoy. Unless required for an assignment/prompt, most of my art lacks any profound or deeper meanings. I’m simply not fond of expressing my personal feelings/emotions or opinions through art. I think I’m a very emotional and opinionated person, but I find it better to keep things private. I would also rather focus more on fun and simple topics as of now. However, if I was more comfortable with revealing that personal part of me, I would incorporate it into my art more.
